We are pushing innovative research into enzyme catalysts and automated biotechnologies. Our biodiesel system is safer to operate, and is much more cost effective than traditional biodiesel production methods. We produce zero wastewater and use 50% less energy in our operations.
Our engineers will provide full technical support to convert your business to sustainable fuel. We will assess your site to understand your operational needs. In addition to tracking fuel quality and performance, we can also arrange for on-site storage facilities and will continue to assist with on-going technical services.

Founded in 2014, Biofuel Innovations is a rapidly growing biotechnology start-up from Melbourne, Australia. We have developed a new generation technology that converts low quality waste oils and fats into biodiesel.

Dr Rebecca Yee
Co-founder and head of Business & Research Development - Dr Yee manages in long-term research collaborations with Monash University, Melbourne University and RMIT. Through our collaborative partners, she engages with research students and interns. A strong advocate for science communication, Dr Yee is also involved in CSIRO's Scientists in Schools program.

Dr Khay Fong
Research Associate - A renowned formulation scientist, Dr Fong has global experience working with biological catalysts. Working between Melbourne and Switzerland, Dr Fong manages our international collaborations across Europe. She also mentors students working on BFI related research projects at Monash University’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

About Biodiesel
Biodiesel is a clean burning alternative to diesel. It can be used in any diesel engine without modification. With superior lubricating properties, biodiesel can increase the life of your engine.
Made from used cooking oils and waste fats, Eco+ Biodiesel does not compete with food crops and is close to carbon neutral. In addition to reducing carbon emissions, Eco+ Biodiesel produces less toxic exhaust gases like sulfur and carbon monoxide.
*B20 is recommended for commercial fleets to be eligible for government fuel tax credits
